Shuburghan, Maimana General Improvement Plans Approved  

  H.E the minister Mohamood Karzai in a meeting with MPs of Jawzjan and Faryab provinces in presence of Aziz Ahmad Gulistani DM of Housing Affairs approved general improvement plans of  Jaghsai and Shinkot areas in PD3 of Shuburghan the provincial city of northern Jawzjan and Kohi Khan, Nazir Abad, and Khwaja Paitakht areas of PD1 and PD4  of Maimana the provincial city of northern Faryab province.

further, at the beginning of the meeting,  the DM of housing affairs given explained that the ministry has begun the survey and registration process of unplanned urban areas so as to secure resident's properties adding that through the implementation of informal urban areas renovation and developmental policy could provide high chances to the economic growth of the country. 

Moreover, the minister of urban development and land considered approval of general development plan of Jaghsai and Shinkot located in Jawzjan province and Kohi Khana, Nazir Abad, and Khwaja Paitakht areas, situated in Faryab province as an important step toward empowering of residents and expressed hope through the implementation of the plan the socio-economic and environmental conditions of residents of the area will improve tremendously.

In Addition, MPs of Jawzjan and Faryab provinces also considered acceptance of the plans as a useful movement to residents of the area and expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the ministry of urban development and land -MUDL for cooperation and full attention. 

It is worth mentioning that the purpose of preparing development plans is to prevent the expansion of unplanned areas, promote urbanism culture, improve social status and create job opportunities, as well as improve the quality, safety, and sustainable construction and residents’ enjoyment of infrastructure and desirable urban services.
