The Afghanistan National Stabilization Programme has been established with the aim of building the infrastructure of government departments, strengthening local governance and creating job opportunities for the citizens, and so far 281 construction and infrastructure projects have been implemented in 34 provinces of the country.
These projects include construction of 47 provincial administrative buildings, 120 repair and administrative districts, 2 health clinics, 22 schools, 1 university, 1 gymnasium, the construction of 11 administrative directorate departments, 4 libraries and 73 different construction projects that during the year 2018 has been completed.
With the implementation of these projects, local governance has been substantially strengthened and the level of service delivery to the country, and the work opportunities for 16,396 citizens directly and around 100 thousand other indirectly provided.
