Over 458,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Nangarhar

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 458,765 jeribs (91,753 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in eastern Nangarhar province.

Out of the total; 14,526 jeribs (2905.2 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 444,239 jeribs (88,847.8 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered more than 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state land and is determined to register the land in order to implement public projects in the country.
