Over 300,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Herat

In proceed of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 303,130 jeribs (60,626 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 147 portions throughout western Herat province.
Out of the total; 8,425 jeribs (1,685 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 294,705 jeribs (58,941 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,628,164 jeribs (1,325,632.8hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the initiative in order to facilitate the implementation of government’s grand development and economic projects of the country.
