Over 235,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Zabul

In proceed of state land registering, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has surveyed and registered 325,691 jeribs (65,138.2 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in Zabul province.

Out of the total; 230,595 jeribs (46,119 hectares) is unused and the remaining 5,096 jeribs (1,019.2 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use land that is divided into 178 portions.

The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has started state-owned land surveying and registering in order to find out the exact numbers of the land and along with restitutions the path will be paved for the implementation for public projects across the country.

Moreover, the ministry in the past one year has surveyed and registered more than 5.5 million jeribs of land throughout the country and has also provided opportunities for its effective use and implementation of public projects.
