Over 140,900 Jeribs of Pasture Registered in Helmand
In proceed of surveying, lining and registering pasture, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 140,967 jeribs (28,193.4hectares) of pasture throughout southern Helmand province.
Moreover, since the initiative, MUDL has so far registered more than 3,375,566 jeribs (675,113.2hectares) of pasture in 28 provinces of the country.
Furthermore, throughout the implementation of surveying, lining and registering pastures, the MUDL, creates necessary conditions for optimal use of public and private pastures as the national wealth of the Afghan people, and creates favorable conditions for economic and livestock growth and self-sufficiency, which will fundamentally change lives of the people.
