Government Commitment Fulfilled Regarding Distribution of Plots to the Affected of Irfani Road, Kabul Sea and Heirs of Dubai Hotel Martyrs
H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar, acting Minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL along with Mr. Mohammad Yaqoob Haidari, governor of Kabul, Mr. Mohammad Zaki Sarfaraz Mayor of Kabul, Senior Staff the ministry, Kabul governor office Kabul municipality staff started distribution of plots in Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan Township to the affected of Irfani Road, Kabul Sea and the heirs of Dubai Wedding Hall martyrs.
In the beginning, H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar along with delegation visited the Township of Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan, after that with the governor and mayor of Kabul and employees starting lining of the plots.
Meanwhile, H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar added based on the guidance from the Office of Chief of Staff to the President and according to H.E President’s promise that the distribution of plots has been started to the affected of Irfani Road, Kabul Sea and the heirs of Dubai Wedding Hall Martyrs and it is intended to distribute 200 square meters of land to the victims in Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan Township.
In addition, H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar stressed on transparency in the process of distributing the plots through a specific procedure.
Furthermore, the Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan Township is situated in Shadman village of Korkh area Kabul city which is in 240 jeribs (48 hectares) of land. According to comprehensive plan, 88 jeribs (17.6 hectares) of land is residential area and the remaining is for green zone, park and services areas.
Out of the 477 plots; 250 residential plots distributed to the victims of Irfani Road, 100 plots to Heirs Dubai Wedding Mall Martyrs and the remaining 127 plots to the affected of Kabul Sea.
The comprehensive plan of the township has been designed by the Ministry of Urban Development and Land and its infrastructure work will be pursued by the municipality of Kabul.
