Corruption should be prevented and accounted for in spending the budget

Mr. Hafez Mohammad Amin Farooqi, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Urban Development and Lands, during a meeting in his office with the officials of the Ministry of Finance, examined how to spend the normal budget and activities of this department. At this meeting, the officials of the Finance Department provided information to the Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration about the organization, duties, responsibilities, functions, as well as how to spend the regular budget. The officials of the finance department stated that they did not face any problems and challenges in the normal budget spending section and that the department's work is proceeding normally. The Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Urban Development and Lands, while providing the necessary instructions and guidance to the officials of the Finance Department to better promote the financial affairs of the Ministry, emphasized that corruption should be prevented and accounted for in spending the budget. Mr. Farooqi also advised the officials of the Finance Department to treat the clients well and do their work without delay, and the employees of the said department to do their job well.
