Parliament Martyrs’ Graveyard Building Inaugurated
H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land - MUDL inaugurated parliament martyrs’ graveyard building in the presence of Mr. Amir Khan Yar, the Second Voice Speaker of the Parliament, Khan Mohammad Wardak, Director of Environmental Protection Commission, and some other members of the parliament.
In the beginning of the ceremony the Director of National Authority of Restoration and Historical Sites, Mr. Farhad Bayat provided technical information regarding the construction of the building.
Subsequently, the Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar, while thanking the representative of people in parliament, added the building has been designed and constructed based on the Timurids era standard style on 6,848 square meters of land.
In addition, the acting minister added the capacity of ministry has now improved in engineering area and the successful designing and implementation of the project is an explicit example.
Furthermore, the Second Voice Speaker of the Parliament thanked the MUDL efforts in implementing the project and appreciated style of the building.
In addition, ex-parliamentarian, Saeed Ali Kazimi said, the project has been completed with the continued efforts of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land and other relevant authorities.
At the end of the ceremony, H.E Peikar, Members of Parliament and the rest participants prayed for the soil of the martyrs.
It is worth mentioning that the building of parliament martyrs’ graveyard has been construction by the National Authority of Restoration and Historical Site of the ministry at a cost of about 28,000,000 AFN.
The Parliament Martyrs’ Graveyard is situated in 6 PD near to the Darul Aman Palace, the construction of which had started in 1394, solar year and completed on 05/09/1398.
