Over 457,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Nangarhar
In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has so far registered 457,119 jeribs (91,423.8 hectares) of state land and public properties under state institutions use in the outskirt of eastern Nangarhar province.
Out of the total; 26,208 jeribs (5,241.6 hectares) of public land is under state institutions use and the remaining 430,911 jeribs (86,182.2 hectares) of land is yet to be used throughout the province.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state land and is determined to register state land and use it to implement public projects throughout the country.
