Over 284,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Helmand
In proceed of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 284,974 jeribs (56,994.8 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 117 portions throughout southern Helmand province.
Out of the total; 1,318 jeribs (263.6 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 283,656 jeribs (56,731.2 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the initiative in order to facilitate the implementation of government’s grand development and economic projects of the country.
