Over 168,000 Jeribs of Pasture Registered in Baghlan

In proceed of surveying, lining and registering pastures, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 168,675 jeribs (33,735 hectares) of pasture divided into 37 portions throughout northern Baghlan province.
Moreover, since the initiative, the MUDL, has so far registered more than 5,650,700 jeribs (1,130,140.2 hectares) of pasture in 28 provinces of the country.
Furthermore, through implementation of the initiative, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, creates the necessary ground for the rational and effective use of public and private pastures as the national wealth of the Afghan people, and generates favorable conditions for economic and livestock growth and self-sufficiency, which will fundamentally change lives of the people.
