Over 459,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Nangarhar

In proceed of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 459,467 jeribs (91,893.4 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 278 portions throughout eastern Nangarhar province.
Out of the total; 14,848 jeribs (2,969.6 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 44,419 jeribs (8,883.8 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the initiative in order to facilitate the implementation of government’s grand development and economic projects of the country.
