Over 368,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Balkh

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 368,052 jeribs (73,610.4 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 168 portions throughout northern Balkh province.

Out of the total; 6,737 jeribs (1,347.4 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 361,315 jeribs (72,263 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,500,000 jeribs (1,300,000 hectares) of state land and public properties in 28 provinces of the country.
