Over 354,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Kandahar

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 354,962 jeribs (70,992.4 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties throughout southern Kandahar province.

Out of the total; 2,700 jeribs (540 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 343,262 jeribs (68,652.4 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,811,482 jeribs (1,362,296.4 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 6,939 portions in 31 provinces of the country.
