Over 262,500 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Helmand
In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 262,564 jeribs (52512.8 hectares) of state land and public properties under state institutions use in southern Helmand province.
Out of the total; 1,318 jeribs (263.6 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 261,246 jeribs (52,249.2 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered more than 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state land and is determined to register the land in order to facilitate the implementation of public projects in the country.
