Over 202,000 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Khost
In implementation of the State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has survey and registered 202,142 jeribs (40,428.4 hectares) of state-owned and public properties under state institutions use in eastern Khost province.
Out of the total; 190,798 jeribs (38,159.6 hectares) is unused state-owned land, and the remaining 11,344 jeribs (2,268.8 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state-owned land and is intended to pave the path for the implementation of public projects throughout the country.
