Over 20 Pylon Areas Consolidated in Kabul

In proceed of facilitating the CASA-1000 power project, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has recently consolidated 29 pylon areas in the outskirt of capital Kabul.
Moreover, the pylons areas have been consolidated in Sarubi district and the consolidation work of 37 pylon areas is underway. Based on the technical survey of the MUDL the total figure of consolidated CASA-1000 pylons reaches 66 pylons.
Furthermore, the 1,300 megawatt electricity is being transferred from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan through a 1,250 kilometers of power line to Afghanistan and then to Pakistan, which is being funded by the World Bank.
