Over 19,000 Urban Informal Houses Registered in Bamyan, Nili
In proceed of Programme for Registration of Urban Informal Settlement, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has surveyed and registered 19,571 urban informal houses in central Bamyan and Daikundi provinces.
Out of the total; 12,392 houses are in informal areas of Bamyan city and the remaining 7,179 houses are in informal areas of Nili city.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered and surveyed 790,446 houses in Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, Herat, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Farah, Bamyan and Nili provinces and in districts Mirbacha Kot of Kabul, Injil of Herat, Spin Boldak of Kandahar, and Balkh district of Balkh province and in the meantime has distributed 20,000 occupancy certificates to the beneficiaries.
