Over 19,000 Jeribs of Pastures Surveyed in Khost

In implementation process of the State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has survey and registered 19,899 jeribs (3,979.8 hectares) of pastures in various parts of southeastern Khost province.
However, the ministry since the beginning of marking and registration of pastures; has so far registered more than 2,120,020 jeribs (424,004 hectares) of pastures in 28 provinces of the country.
Furthermore, through the implementation of surveying, lining and registering pastures; the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, creates the necessary conditions for the optimal use of public and private pasture land as national wealth of the Afghan people, creates favorable conditions for economic and livestock growth and self-sufficiency and it fundamentally changes the lives of the people.
