Over 177,000 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Laghman
In implementation of the State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has survey and registered 177,493 jeribs (35,498.6 hectares) of state-owned and public properties under state institutions use in eastern Laghman province.
Out of the total; 162,005 jeribs (32,401 hectares) is unused state-owned land and the remaining 15,488 jeribs (3,097.6hectares) are public properties under state institutions use.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state-owned land and is intended to pave the path for the implementation of public projects throughout the country.
