Over 155,000 Jeribs of Pastures Registered in Helmand

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 155,982 jeribs (31,196.4 hectares) of pastures throughout southern Helmand province.
Moreover, since the initiative, the MUDL has so far registered 4,490,335 jeribs (898,067 hectares) of pasture land in 28 provinces of the country.
Furthermore, through implementing the survey, lining and registering of pastures, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, creates the necessary conditions for optimal use of public and private pastures as the national wealth of the Afghan people, and creates favorable conditions for economic, livestock and self-sufficiency growth, which will fundamentally change lives of the people.
