Over 100,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Herat
Since formation of the State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has surveyed and registered 185,035 jeribs (37,007 hectares) of state-owned land in western Herat province.
Out of the total, 172,879 jeribs (34,575.8 hectares) are unused land, which is divided into 78 portions and the remaining 12,156 jeribs (2,431.2 hectares) of state-owned land that is divided into 25 portions in provincial capital and other districts of the province.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far surveyed, mapped and registered more than 4,400,000 jeribs (880,000 hectares) of state-owned land, which is divided into 5,109 portions in 28 provinces of the country.
