More than 240,000 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Helmand
In implementation of the State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has survey and registered 240,394 jeribs (48,078.8 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in southern Helmand province.
Out of the total; 232,742 jeribs (46,548.4 hectares) is unused state-owned land and the remaining 7,652 jeribs (1,530.4 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state-owned land and is intended to pave the path for the implementation of public projects throughout the country.
