More than 164,000 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Badghis

In implementation of the State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has survey and registered 164,255 jeribs (32,851 hectares) of state-owned and public properties under state institutions use in northwestern Badghis province.
Out of the total; 163,268 jeribs (32,653.6 hectares) is unused state-owned land, and the remaining 987 jeribs (197.4hectares) are public properties under state institutions use.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state-owned land and is intended to pave the path for the implementation of public projects throughout the country.
