H.E. Mohammad Jawad Peikar Visits Newly Constructed National Procurement Institute Building
H.E. Mohammad Jawad Peikar, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL along with Professor Saeed Kakar, Chancellor of Kabul Polytechnic University, Abdul Rahman, Deputy of Operational Unit of the Administrative Office to the President and a group of directors and officials on Monday morning visited the newly constructed National Procurement Institute Building.
The Acting minister, while visiting all parts of the institute, cheered the Prefabricated Construction Company’s technology using in constructing and stressed on further use of the technology in educational section.
Moreover, H.E. Mohammad Jawad Peikar, appreciated the tireless work of the Afghan Housing Administration Authority and its personnel and tasked its CEO to give appreciation certificates to all the organizers who had vital role in constructing the institute.
Subsequently, the Chancellor of Kabul Polytechnic University appreciated the tireless efforts of the leadership of the ministry and called it important for the students’ capacity building, attaining education and technical skills.
Furthermore, the building of National Procurement Institute has been constructed on 1,040 square meters of land in two floors through using the technology of Prefabricated Construction Company by Afghan Housing Administration Authority of the ministry inside Kabul Polytechnic University.
In addition, the building has all the facilities such as classrooms, offices, washrooms, conference hall, mess, library and waiting room with modern system.
At the sideline of the visit, H.E. Mohammad Jawad Peikar met with Mr. Saeed Kakar Chancellor Kabul Polytechnic University, while discussing different issues, exchanged views on creating Technical Institute of Land Management.
