Distribution of over 29,000 OC in Eight Cities of the Country
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, distributed 29,908 occupancy certificates in informal urban areas of eight cities of the country.
Out of the total; 16,000 occupancy certificates have been distributed in Kabul, 4,595 OCs in Herat, 2,372 OCs in Mazar e Shareef, 1,530 OCs in Jalal Abad, 2,719 OCs in Kandahar, 49 OCs in Farah, 1,657 OCs in Bamian, and 986 OCs in Nili the provincial city of Daikundi province.
Note to be mentioned that the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, so far has distributed occupancy certificates for 914,853 informal houses so as to be asphalted lanes and watercourses of the area by the municipality right after the registration of informal areas process and providing better urban services to residents of the area.
