Preparation and Approval of 26 Strategic Plans in a Year
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, in the past year, has prepared and approved 26 strategic plans of cities and districts through Strategic Development Project (SDP).
The plans are prepared and approved for the districts and provincial cities of Herat, Balkh, Kandahar, Maidan Wardak. Zabul, Kunduz, Jowzjan, Kapisa, Bamyan, Takhar, Badakhshan, Paktika, Khost, Laghman and Kunar provinces.
Furthermore, the most important goal of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land is to prepare and implement strategic plans for the economic growth of cities and districts on the basis of economical sources of each location.
