Over 475,000 Urban Informal Houses Registered in Kabul

In proceed of the Programme for Registering Urban Informal Areas, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 475,446 houses in different parts of Kabul province.
Out of the total; 9,653 houses are in first police district, 6,615 houses are in second police district, 11,455 houses are in third police district, 17,150 houses are in forth police district, 39,692 houses are in fifth police district, 39,449 houses are in sixth police district, 36,400 houses are in seventh police district, 35,447 houses are in 8th police district, 22,494 houses are in 9th police district, 21,093 houses are in 10th police district, 31,463 houses are in 11th police district, 22,605 houses are in 12th police district, 46,503 houses are in 13th police district, 10,127 houses are in 14th police district, 26,400 houses are in 15th police district, 30,673 houses are in 16th police district, 46,772 houses are in 17th police district, 3,588 houses are in 18th police district, 3,544 houses are in 19th police district, 3,197 houses are in 20th police district, 2,905 houses are in 21st police district, 4,652 houses are in 22nd police district and 3,569 houses are in Mir Bacha Kot district of the province.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has in view that by the end of 2020 distribute occupancy certificates to 500,000 house in informal areas of Kabul, Mazar e Sharif, Herat, Kandahar, Jalalabad, Farah, Bamyan and Nili, however, as a result 3,000,000 families will benefit from secure property.
