Over 345,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Kandahar

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 345,962 Jeribs (69,192 hectares) of state-owned land and properties divided into 262 portions throughout Kandahar province.

Out of the total; 2,700 jeribs (540 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 343,262 jeribs (68,652 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,919,515 jeribs (1,383,903 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 7012 portions into 32 provinces of the country.
