Over 323,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Herat

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 323,646 Jeribs (64,729 hectares) of state-owned land and properties divided into 149 portions throughout western Herat province.

Out of the total; 8,425 jeribs (1,685 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 315,221 jeribs (63,044 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,919,515 jeribs (1,383,903 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 7012 portions in 32 provinces of the country.
