Over 300,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Herat

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 303,130 jeribs (60,626 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 147 portions throughout western Herat province.

Out of the total; 8,425 jeribs (1,685 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 294,705 jeribs (58,941 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,500,000 jeribs (1,300,000 hectares) of state land and public properties in 28 provinces of the country.
