Over 250,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Herat

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 252,417 jeribs (50,483.4 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in western Herat province.

Out of the total; 12,200 jeribs (2,440 hectares) of the land is public properties under state instructions use of state and remaining 240,217 is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state land and is determined to register and use the land to implement public projects throughout the country.
