Over 228,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Herat
In proceed of state land registering, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has surveyed and registered 228,543 jeribs (228,543 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in Herat province.
Out of the total; 216,334 jeribs (43,266.8 hectares) is unused and the remaining 12,200 jeribs (2,440 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use land that is divided into 139 portions.
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has started state-owned land surveying and registering in order to find out the exact numbers of the land and along with restitutions the path will be paved for the implementation for public projects across the country.
Moreover, the ministry in the past one year has surveyed and registered more than 5.5 million jeribs of land throughout the country and has also provided opportunities for its effective use and implementation of public projects.
