Over 220,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Balkh

In proceed of State Land Bank implementation, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 223,677 jeribs (44,735.4 hectares) of state land and property in northern Balkh province.

Out of the total; 194,448 jeribs are state unused land divided into 24 portions and the remaining 29,229 jeribs are public properties under the use of state institutions that are divided into 103 portions throughout the province.

In addition, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far surveyed, registered and mapped 4,569,102 jeribs of state land and property, which has divided into 5,292 portions in 28 provinces of the country.
