Over 199,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Laghman

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 199,231 Jeribs (39,846 hectares) of state-owned land and properties divided into 373 portions throughout Laghman province.

Out of the total; 15,631 jeribs (3,126 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 183,600 jeribs (36,720 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,919,515 jeribs (1,383,903 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 7012 portions in 32 provinces of the country.
