Over 1,970 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Laghman

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 197,065 jeribs (39,413 hectares) of state-owned land and properties divided into 368 portions throughout eastern Laghman province.

Out of the total; 15,627 jeribs (3,125.4 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 181,438 jeribs (36,287.6 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,811,482 jeribs (1,362,296.4 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 6,939 portions in 31 provinces of the country.
