Over 19,000 Urban Informal Houses Registered in Bamyan, Daikundi
In proceed of Programme for Registration Urban Informal Settlement (PRUIS), the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 19,530 urban informal urban houses in different parts of Bamyan and Nili cities.
Out of the total; 12,392 houses are in Bamyan city and the remaining 7,138 houses are in Nili the provincial city of Daikundi.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has in view that by 2020, will distribute 200,000 occupancy certificates to informal houses in urban areas of 8 cities (Kabul, Mazar Shareef, Herat, Qandahar, Jalal abad, Farah, Bamyan and Nili) and four districts (Mir Bacha Kot in Kabul, Injil in Herat, Spin Boldak in Kandahar and Balkh in Balkh province).
