Over 15,000 Jeribs of Land Restituted in Balkh

In proceed of restituting grabbed state-owned land, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has recently restituted over 15,000 jeribs (3,000 hectares) of state land in northern Balkh province.

Moreover, in first phase 5,000 jeribs (1,000 hectares) of state grabbed land has been restituted and the construction has also been destroyed in Hairatan Dorahi.

Subsequently, out of 15,000 jeribs (3,000 hectares) of grabbed land in Dasht-e Shoor; in three kilo meters of Mazar-e-Sharif, over 70 percent of land has been restituted and the remaining 30 percent will be soon restituted.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land regarding the grabbed land in Balkh province, has recognized tens of land grabbers, which will be introduced to the Justice and Legislature authority soon.

Out of 180,000 jeribs (36,000 hectares) of grabbed state land in Balkh province, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has restituted 80,000 jeribs (16,000 hectares) of land and is committed to restitute the remaining.

The Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far restituted 500,000 jeribs (100,000 hectares) of grabbed state-owned land that has recognized 18,823 usurpers out of which 15,823 land grabbers has been introduced to Justice and Legislature authority throughout the country.
