Nearly 21,000 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Paktia
In implementation of the State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has survey and registered 20,985 jeribs (4,197 hectares) of state-owned and public properties under state institutions use in Samkani district of eastern Paktia province.
Out of the total; 20,982 jeribs (4,196.4 hectares) is unused state-owned land, and the remaining 3 jeribs (0.6hectares) are public properties under state institutions use.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state-owned land and is intended to pave the path for the implementation of public projects throughout the country.
