H.E. Mohammad Jawad Peikar Approves Three Comprehensive and Strategic Plans for Zabul

H.E. Mohammad Jawad Peikar, acting minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL in a meeting with Mr. Rahmatullah Yarmal governor of Zabul, Chief of Ulema Council, Provincial Council Deputy, Chief Advisor to the President and elders from Zabul has approved three comprehensive and strategic plans.

Moreover, the plans included a township for heirs of Martyrs, building on 309 jeribs (61.8 hectares) of land, under the name of Heroes, which has been prepared by the Ministry of Urban Development and Land.

In addition, the township has the capacity of 672 residential plates, which will be distributed to the heirs of martyrs of armed forces.

In addition to the comprehensive plan, the ministry has also designed a plan for Zabul University with enclosure of 211 jeribs (42.2 hectares) of land.

Moreover, the plan has been designed in ten faculties that consists of academic, sport, services, green zones, library, auditorium, kindergarten and farms.

Furthermore, the ministry of Urban Development and Land in the meantime has approved the strategic plan of Qalat city. In this plan 20 years of the necessities of the city has been kept in mind.

H.E. Mohammad Jawad Peikar, while signing these plans, considered it vital for the development of the city of Qalat and assigned the General Directorate of Urban Planning to send a technical committee as soon as possible to prepare detailed plans within the Strategic Plan area.

At the end, it is worth mentioning that the authorities and the elders of the province lauded the struggle of the Minister of Urban Development and Land in firm and stable development of Zabul province.
