Construction Work of Two Public Projects Started in Nuristan
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, through the National Stabilization Programme, has started the construction work of Zanjil Mosque and a School in Dowant Waigal district of eastern Nuristan province.
Moreover, the mosque is being constructed on 3,472 square meters of land in two floors having the capacity of embodying 340 worshippers at a cost of about 16,353,000 AFN funded by the developmental budget of ministry and the Arnas school is being constructed on 798 square meters of land in two floors at a cost of about 27,000,000 AFN funded by the developmental budget of Education Ministry.
Furthermore, Ministry of Urban Development and Land, with the construction and restoration of mosques and holy places; has a played key role in preserving Islamic values and by building standard buildings of schools and creating a favorable environment for teaching and learning; assists the Ministry of Education in better implementing national curricula.
