New Kabul City Priority of MUDL: Mr. Mahmood Karzai

Mr. Mahmood Karzai, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL along with Mr. Mohammad Dawood Sultanzoi, Mayor of Kabul, Mr. Roshaan Wolusmal, Dputy Minister of Urbanization Affairs, Mr. Gul Rahman Totakhail, Deputy Minister of Land Affairs, and Mr. Aziz Ahmad Gulistani, Deputy Minister of Housing Affairs, technical directors and relevant officials visited Deh Sabz area of Kabul.

Moreover, the purpose of the visit was to review the situation in the area, remove obstacles and challenges in the construction of the new city and strengthen the coordination of activities between MUDL and municipality of Kabul.

Furthermore, during the visit, Mr. Karzai, assigned the Deputy Minister of Land Affairs to complete the process of establishing land ownership consolidation, technical survey and clearance of the area to provide quick opportunity for the implementation of the project.

In addition, Mr. Mahmood Karzai, directed the relevant departments to start the construction of the first phase of New Kabul City, connected to Piroozi Township and to gradually expand this large project.

Similarly, Mr. Mohammad Dawood Sultanzoi, considered the construction of New Kabul City as one of the most important developmental projects and promised any kind of cooperation to achieve it.

In the end, Mr. Mahmood Karzai and Mayor of Kabul, emphasized on strengthening the level of coordination, joint work and taking practical steps to provide better services and provide better living conditions for our compatriots.
