H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar Approved Two Plans for Badakhshan
H.E. Mohammad Jawad Peikar, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL in a meeting with Mr. Zakria Sawda, governor of Badakhshan, discussed the developmental programmes of the province.
Initially, the governor of Badakhshan thanked the leadership of the ministry for paying attention to the construction of Hirqa mosque in Faizabad, and offered his proposals.
Subsequently, H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar said, the MUDL has constructed Hirqa mosque with highest standards, while beautifying the public view of Faizabad city, the mosque has also resolved the existing need.
Moreover, the acting minister of MUDL called the long-term development prospect indispensable for the development of Faizabad city, meanwhile, ordered the relevant department to send a team to conduct studies for the preparation of the long-term prospect, pledged to include Faizabad in the next stages of the Strategic Development Plan (SDF).
Furthermore, Mr. Mohammad Jawad Peikar mentioned the promise of H.E. President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to construct Eidgah mosque in Faizabad, tasked the relevant departments to include the intended area for Eidgah in Land Use Plan and modify it to the Mixed Commercial and Residential plan.
In addition, the acting Minister of Urban Development and Land asked the governor of Badakhshan to email the proposal of constructing mosques and other holly places to the ministry to include them in this year fiscal plan.
Furthermore, H.E Mohammad Jawad Peikar continued his remarks by saying that the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has prepare 10 detailed plans for different areas of Badakhshan and tasked the relevant authorities to ready them for approval.
In the sideline of the meeting, the acting minister approved Strategic Development plan of Draem district and Badakhshan local plan and submitted for implementation to the authorities of Badakhshan province.
