Teachers’ Townships Planning Project
Teachers’ townships planning project created in 2008 in consent with the Ministry of education, agriculture and the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, in order to encourage teachers to improve educational system in the country.
The project includes, survey and preparation of topographical planning of towns, preparing the planning of Geographical Information System (GIS) and detailed plan preparation according to the topographical plan, preparation of the road planning according to the topographical planning and details, preparing plan for water and electricity network, calculation and preparing a list of required goods, making town’s guidance book and submitting that to the Ministry of education with designed plans, setting up and preparing physical and financial preplanned plans of towns, presenting report on the development of project, financially preparing and classifying the project according to the allocated budget, and preparing procurement and financial plans are what the project deals with.
Moreover, completing the topographical survey of 113 teachers’ townships, detailed visa plan of 105 teachers’ townships, the design of 94098 plats of teachers residence in the land approximately around 51716 jerib (10343.2 hectors) and the distribution of 74,000 residential plats to teachers residence in 28 provinces of the country, are the achievements of this project and four other teachers’ townships will be inaugurated in near future, in Pol Alam-Logar, Behsud-Nangarhar, Khak Jabar-Kabul and Kajaran-Daikundi.
