Over 3,000 Jeribs of Land Restituted in Laghman

In proceed of restituting state grabbed land, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has restituted 3,678 jeribs (735.6 hectares) of state land in eastern Laghman province.

Out of the total; 1,220 jeribs (244 hectares) of state land is in center, 639 jeribs (127.8 hectares) of state land is in Alingar district, 1,300 jeribs (260 hectares) of land is in Qarghae district and the remaining 519 jeribs (103.8 hectares) of land is in Ali Shang district.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far restituted 500,000 jeribs (100,000 hectares) of land throughout the country and has sent a list of 18,823 usurpers (3,764.6 hectares) to the Justice and Judicial organs.
