MUDL for the First Time Entered Nearly 800 Constructional Projects into Online Informational Bank

Mr. Saeed Nasim Khaleeq, the Deputy Minister of Construction Affairs of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) said the Online Informational Bank has been created within the framework of the ministry and for the first time 797 constructional projects have been entered in the bank.
Moreover, Mr. Khaleeqi added the the purposes of this bank are accountability, transparency, providing people and government departments with access to the information, raising people's awareness of construction plans and projects on provincial, districts and villages levels, indicates the stages of implementing constructional projects and promoting e-governance.
In addition, the bank has categorized the information about the constructional projects into sectorial, zone, departments and provincial level.
Furthermore, the informational system is consists of 797 constructional projects out of which; 65 projects are in surveying phase, 129 projects are in designing phase, 183 projects are in procurement phase, 260 projects are in implementation phase and 72 projects have been completed and exploited.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land in the past one year has started 477 constructional projects in educational sector, 100 projects in Health and Sport sector, 151 projects in religious and historical sector, 86 projects in social and administrative sector and 9 projects in industrial and agricultural sector.
In the past one year, other achievement of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land in its organizational structure is that it has created the Afghanistan Designing Center, through this all the state and public institutions have been designed and constructed by experienced and professionals.
