Over 325,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Kandahar

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 325,463 jeribs (65,092.6 hectares) of state land and public properties under state institutions use in southern Kandahar province.

Out of the total; 2,700 jeribs (540 hectares) is public properties under state institution use and the remaining 322,763 jeribs (64,552.6 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the continuity of the process to facilitate the implementation of government’s major economic and development plans that are in the highest interest of the country.
