Over 220,000 Jeribs of Land Registers in Balkh

In proceed of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has so far registered 223,677 jeribs (44,735.4 hectares) of state land and properties in northern Balkh province.

Out of the total; 194,448 jeribs (38,889.6 hectares) of state unused is land in 24 portions and the remaining 29,229 jeribs (5,845.8 hectares) are public properties in 103 portions under the use of state institutions throughout the province.

However, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered, surveyed and mapped 4,569,102 jeribs (913,820.4 hectares) of state land and properties in 5,292 portions in 28 provinces of the country.
