Over 200,000 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Balkh
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, through the State Land Bank, has so far surveyed and registered 270,451 jeribs (54,090.2 hectares) of state land and public properties under the use of state institutions in northern Balkh province.
Out of the total; 6,661 jeribs (1,332.2 hectares) of land, divided into 113 portions, is state-owned land and the remaining 263,790 jeribs (52,758 hectares) of land, divided into 39 portions, is yet to be used throughout the province.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far surveyed, mapped and registered 5,392,794 jeribs (1,078,558.8 hectares) of state land and properties, divided into 6,092 portions, in 28 provinces of the country.
